Ignition timing problems

I bought my KZ750M1 a few months ago. It´s looking like new although she´s from ´82. Her only problem is the ignition timing. The ignition is electronic but the advancer is mechanic.
Problem: there´s hardly no power between 1500-3000rpm. Cause: The small rubbers in the ignition advancer harden or even let go and the springs are not correct (wrong types placed by former owner??). They aren´t sold seperately. I´m working on it. Seems to be a rather common problem.
