Hi all...
I´ve got a 79, KZ1000LTD, 46,000 mi. Runs great at idle, sets up perfectly with the timing light, take it for the test deive and pukes out on medium to hard throttle... check my timing and all is retarded a few degrees. How does this happen? How can it retard itself, and why is it not advancing? I´ve pulled everything apart under the points cover to the crankshaft, nothing broken or worn, cleaned, lubed and reassembled, same result.
Any ideas or suggestions?
