you can´t just stab at the kickstart like a 2-stroke. put it in nuetral, put pressure down on the kicker through two stops, after the second, go 60 degrees further, bring the kicker all the way back up, there should be a bunch of compression now and you should be at the top of the stroke, give it a quick kick all the way through the motion, it should start, if it doesn´t, start from the beginning again
