To get smooth and better performance from your bike, you should have a good mechanic re tune your engine to suit the new silencer, if you can´t find a good mechanic, then try to run the carburettor a little richer on fuel to adjust for the extra gas flow you are getting from the new silencer. Without changing your carburettor setting, you run the risk of running too lean and too hot and possibly burning a valve are melting a hole in the piston.
