i am a owner of a 2002 kawasaki klr 650. i just got the bike back in march of this year and i already have over 3,000 miles on it. this bike has given me no problems so far. the only thing that i changed on it is a rear tire and oil. i put a nobby on it for off road use. i love this bike. my top speed so far is 105 and that is when i first got it after proper break in proceedures. i live in a little town in PA called Portage. it is more farm country than anything.
