i have a question for you that you might be able to help me with. i recently purchased a used 2001 klr 650. it only has 2240 miles on it so its relatively new so to speak. but my question for you is,,, when i turn the handlebars to the right to lock it out...the rear break light stays on.....i left it like this for 5 or 6 minutes thinking it was a time delay of sorts but it failed to cut off after this time... is this a short or am i not doing something right ? i hope you can help me with this issue. by the way i love the bike..its all you folks said it was and more. thanks a lot sfc kevin franklin us army.
