Well since the U.S Military and great britian are currently useing it in the military, I´de say there will be plenty of cheap surplus parts by then. The only major differance is the military is a multi fuel/ diesel setup, max speed is about 55mph, but 120 miles to the gallon and better low end torgue and better reliability. I am thinking of buying one myself and changeing it over like the military has, only mine will be about twice as fast cause I´m adding a turbo to mine. So it will be a super turbo diesel. It will be nice to drive it to work for 2 weeks on about 3 bucks. The addition of the turbo will not only give me more power expecially on the top end, but will pick up the gas miliage as well, and at 120 mpg currently, I can just imagine what it will be after that, hopefully up to 150 mpg.
