I bought one of these brand new in 1979. I put 13,000 miles on it in 15 months while stationed in Montana in the USAF. I rode it everywhere. I got a consistent 75 mpg on the highway. I even took it on a 550 mile trip one day. Not the smartest thing I ever did but I was 19 !
