I hope u got the bike going by now, had the same prob with a 1980 I swapped the cdi and ignition coil still running like a champ today!! I would think if are worried about the stator generator I have the repair manaul that lists ohms readings to rule that out. Anyway if u need help let me know if not happy riding!!
