| I have a 94 kawasaki kdx200 with clutch problems. The biggest problem is finding the actual clutch pack kit online and its really really confusing for some reason. This bike has a 5 spring clutch. The metal disc plates are different than most in that the teeth are more pointed and not the castle top lookin type. I bought 3 kits online that say they fit the bike but did not even come close. I finally got a kit off ebay that had the appearance of being correct but when i rebuilt the clutch, the kit was short 1 plate and 1 friction disc. I had to clean up the best of the old stuff and use it but it all only lasted about 6 months. If i remember correctly the kit i got was for an 88 kdx200. Can anyone explain why this is such a pain to find the right kit or at this point im willing to buy a whole new 6 spring basket and the whole thing. I just dont know what i can drop in there. Also, it started burning the clutch oil through the engine-just making sure that changing the seal in there will fix that issue because i have 2 kdx´s doing this. I have new seal kits already. |
