Connection rod inserts

So Im rebuilding a 1984 gpz 750... so far not too bad until I got to the crank shaft and connecting rods... the inserts are worn but from the manual I can not id the right inserts... best I can see is a faint blue on the insert which does not match the three choices... there is a brown looking L on the rod... any ideas?
