So my gpz550 has been sitting for about 4 months, ive been starting it up occasionally but havent ridden it much because it is not legal/registered. It recently stopped starting, when it ran great not too long ago. Im pretty sure its old gas in the carbs, but i havent taken them apart yet to make sure. anyway after i put new gas in, and made sure it wasnt the fuel line to the carbs that was blocked, i cranked it a couple times and then i saw a spark on the negative terminal of the battery, then the starter wouldnt even crank. what happened?
