stick to standard sized tyres if possible as they keep the steering quick and the bike flickable - 110/70-17 front and 130/70-17 rear

if you must get a bigger rear then a 140/70-17 will just fit.

best thing is to upgrade to radials. use michelin macadam 100X tyres. these offer good grip and good life.
