Check the switch touching the kickstand? It´s been a while since I owned the bike but seem to remember that the switch was a safety device so you wouldn´t ride off with the stand in down position? Re-spring so stands stays fully retracted and not jiggling. OR switch could be worn. for testing, by pass the switch with a jumper?
