Carb trouble in Thailand - used parts source? |

Hi All, new seals and new needles are expensive. The garage wants to replace both rubber inlets / outlets, too. I only found the larger ones, but not the smaller ones. Q1: name = ? Q2: source = ? or is that something for the Kawasaki dealer? Mine is a rat bike, bought unseen for what I thought was silly money. turns out it was much too much for the terrible condition the bike is in: 0 % stopping power with the front rakes. That was a scary ride! Hard wired manual fan switch instead of replacing the thermostat. badly adjusted carb idle - the engine is overheating and revving up to 4,000 rpm at red lights. Fiddling with the idle screw helped a bit. Enough said - it´s in a sorry state. Unloved for many years and with different tires. IRC in the front are incredibly hard. Hint: next time, look at the owner, not just the bike. this one was having a friend \ |
