This bike is THE bike to have if you cant decide between a nimble little crotch rocket or a more solid touring bike. To an experienced rider this bike is easy to flip through the twisties and once you return home, you can strap on the saddle bags and the mrs and drive for hours. The nice thing is that after the long drive you dont feel like you have been beaten when you get off the bike. The power is spread out over a more usable range than on most of the modern supersport class bikes. I have raised tha handlebar height about 4 inces with some aftermarket bars. This further enhances the touring experience. I actually got the bike intending on doing touring, but I didn´t want to muscle something the size of a consourse through windy roads. I know this bike is one of the more reliable machines out there. My family owned a Kawi franchize since the 70´s. This bike is pretty bulletproof. I cant think of another bike I would want to own for any amount of money. |
