Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it, but fortunately, I am now a proud owner of a new Honda Hornet 600. In the end, I just could not see myself as an ER-6f owner, thought it a little too commuter and residential both in feel and looks, just look at the very poor tank size, very strange and somewhat suspicious, this seems to be a modern trend too. I had a GPZ500s, last of the drum brakes version some time ago, and to be honest I got rid of that because it was a little bland, meaning, being a twin. The Hornet is really light and nimble, the four little hungry mouths to feed are not too bad, as a full tank, until the warning system kicks in, will vary around the 150 mark, or 13 litres, then with about 4 litres to spare. A great little machine that is less than three moths old and has just had its 4000 miles service, been to Paris and completed this years National Road Rally, all good fun. Thanks and ride safeā¦ |
