Hi -

I´m looking at getting a basic twin / 500cc for use around London and out on the open roads.

I´ve read a good review on the ER5, but want to find out what the competition´s like (CB500, GS500).

The ER5 is heavier, with less Bhp, but then it´s fuel-injected and water-cooled.

Does anyone have any comments on its performance versus other bikes?

I´ve ridden a GS500 and wasn´t blown-away. It´s a ´nice´ 500, but nothing to get excited about (more gears, anyone?).

I need something with more pep, plenty of low-end grunt, and easy to manoever.
