My name is bruce and I have just received a 2000 Vulcan 500 EN. I was given the bike by a first time rider who is starting with this bike after she finishes the rider safety course in east central Illinois. The bike has sat for 3 years and has 6600 miles on it. Of course there is gas in the carbs which means I will have to take and clean out as well as achange all of the fluids in the bike. I am very familiar with working on bikes as I have a couple that I service myself(91 R100RT and a 99 F650). I am trying to find a service manual for the 500 to help me with this project. Is there a place I can look up or call to get such a service manual. I want to stay away from Haynes manuals. I did find a Clymer that only goes up to 95. Though Clymer has great manuals(have one for the RT and F650), I would like to find a dealer service manual for this model. Thanks and ride safe, bruce
