| Hi Troy - the calf scorch hasn´t been a problem where I am - it´s a blessing sometimes here in GB to have a bit of heat filtering up in the winter! The only time the heat builds up is in town traffic - on the open road the engine temp stays really low. I suppose you coud plug into the power socket - I use it for charging my phone at the moment. I opted for a Starcom intercom unit which allows me to plug an Ipod in as well as comms with the pillion. It´s a bit pricey but worth it as it gives decent sound quality with the in helmet speakers/mic arrangment. Do you wear a helmet over there? I know it´s not required in some states. If you´re looking for a Harley type arrangment I´ve no knowledge of this set up over here as helmet wear is compulsory so we tend to go for in the in helmet arrangement. Vista cruise eh? Haven´t thought about that yet - I do agree though that it should have been standard - Kawasaki say they´re bringing out more accessories for the bike in 2008 so keep checking the Kawasaki site - or subscribe to their email service and get it first hand? In reply to your other post - only tob box I´ve seen so far is the Kawasaki one - I´d have to go through a dealer here so I expect it´s the same for you. No idea how much they are - sorry. |
