My Connie Running on 3 cylinders

I have a 1988 Kawasaki concours that is running on three cylinders. I bought a new coil but no dice. It goes 1and 4, 2 and 3. The # exhaust is cold and spiting gas off the drain hole and exhaust. Any ideas before I spend more!
