I bought my ´73 Z-1 in 1974 for $ 1750.00. The guy who owned it bought it new and even had it chained to a post he had installed in his garage. He wouldn´t even let me, a 19 yr old, take it for a test-drive! Only until i gave him a cashier´s check did he un-chain it and give me the keys. What a bike to own after driving a 200cc Yamaha. It was a lot of fun to drive. Took my best friend´s sister for a ride one time and got into a race with a 750 Honda. We left him at around 100 MPH. Like the previous guy i still wish i had it.
