Charles, This is a very interesting chain. Bighorn´s are still being raced today and won national championships as late as 1996 or 1997 (Australia) and in 1993 Southeast Region (I´m assuming AMA but wouldn´t put money on it).

If you could find any of your tuning information, that would be great. If it was 1971 you base bike was probably an F5A which was a better starting piint that the 1972 model F9 although the factory came out with racing specifications for the F9A in October 1973.
