Bike starts then dies..

Hey guys, newbie dad here. My sons bike wouldn´t start so I put a new plug in. It started a little better after a few kicks. I let it run at 3/4 to full throttle and in about 15 seconds it died and wouldn´t fire at all. The fuel line is not blocked. It has been ridden hard and put away wet a few times. Any ideas?
