Assuming you operate it at 2000 ft above sea level or less... Pull the snorkel off the top of the airbox. Install a K & N air filter. Go up two sizes on the main jet (stock one is a 98). Then warm up the bike 5 mins and adjust the mixture screw for maximun idle speed. The mixture screw is the brass screw toward the forward portion of the carb that points straight down. The stock pilot jet should be OK.

You will be suprised how much more power it will make and how cleanly it will rev. Enjoy
