Luke, I have a 1995 XR100 that i got several years ago when I was 11. I am almost 15 and I just got a CR250R yesterday. I had an awsome time on the XR 100 and I treated it more like a two stroke and it kept up with me pretty well. I did most of the things I wanted it to including jumping pretty far for a trail bike. I think it just breaks 40mph, but it depends on your weight. If you are going to trail and field ride, it gets awsome gas mileage even with my riding. It does not have as much power as the race bikes but it will get you where you want to go. Its handling is pretty good except mine slides around turns alittle more since my tires are a bit worn. I love the bike and it is extremely quiet so you can ride it later on in the day without disturbing as many people. You have to have a couple of acres or a place to ride though. It is a great all around bike and I would definately buy one any day of the week. Jon Follmer |
