i have an 01 xlr125 however it has had an engine replacement and this one has a kickstart, all wiring fine apart form alternator, the original loom has two connecting blocks one with the three yellow wires from the rectifier and another block of two i think not sure what they do. any way the engine maybe from cg dont know has a total of 6 wires coming from it, a yellow one same as existing three, blue and white, white, green , black and red and light green and red. i was just wondering does anyone know if i can connect existing original loom into this alternator/stator or do i replace the alternator stator as there is on on ebey with original wiring if so how is this removed as i undid the nut in the middle of the wheel and it didnt want to budge is this the magnet? any help appreciated. cheers jon |
