Anyone got any clues on an ignition fault on my 1985 XL600LM. It used to be a random intermittent fault, but now it is permenant!!
The bike always starts, but dies the split second you release the starter button. you can carry on restarting like this over and over with the same result each time the button is released. It wont start on the kickstart either. Ican only assume it is something to do with a change in the elactrical circuitry when the starter button is pressed. HELP PLEASE!!
