hehe, took me about two days to get a ritual down to get mine started. Best bet is what was already stated.... crank the starter till you get the cylinder to top dead center..easy enuff to tell when its there, cuz the kicker will suddenly stop due to compression. you can either use the compression lever to release the compression or just continue to depress the kick starter slowly untill it just rolls past TDC. Then jump on it with all your force. Generally takes me about 3-4 cranks first thing in the morning, but once it´s started, it generally turns over in 1-2 kicks. Its somewhat of a ritualistic machine, and once you get your ritual down, it´s not too bad. But plan on working out your right leg till you figure out your ritual =) |
