dear friend, i also experienced same prob. the bulb is 6V35-35 , that means that are 6volts, 35 watts. this bulb are dif from the normal you find in a store as replacement. as the front light has an independent non regulated source, it needs to have the proper bulb, because is you use a less consume bulb, as the 6V-25-25, it will burn. Replace with one of this especifications and ypu will have no more troubles. If not, you can put a resistor in paralel to the bulb, a 2 ohms - 20 Watts it will be ok. if you need further help, do not hesitate to contact. regrds from uruguay, richard
