I just bought a well-used street legal ´82 XL500R for cheap. Gonna fix it up but I´m open to suggestion. Which would be better (or more to the point, more FUN)? - Should I just go stock + some performance enhancements, or should I tweak it into a street motard/TT bike? I´m a grownup and I won´t do this halfway - I just don´t have much experience with XL´s. Opinions/suggestions?
