hi everyone i recently brought a honda xl400 which cannot seem to find much info on the bike is 1988 and has 4 previous owners i wish to carry out some basic maintainance like an oil change for a start as the reading on the dip stick iat its lowest due to the fact when i took it out the othe rweek i noticed oil seeping from the rocker cover this being dispersed by the heat of the engine also the spark plug is of a different size to the plugs in this country a enw plug wrench will sort this i was going to put castrol gtx 10w40 in the lump as it seems to suffice my z900 which is a 4cylinder 4 stroke i would apprietiate any relevent info on the bike it seems there is info on the 350 and 500 models but not much on the 400s.steve
