Oil capacity

Greetings,

I have had my XL250 for a few months now and am enjoying it for street use just around town. I need to know what the oil capacity it for the bike and the best oil to use. My bike has an after market oil filter on it. I´m told the amount of extra oil needed for it is negligable.
