I have owned my 1993 Yamaha GTS 1000 since buying it new in 1995. The bike was way ahead of other bikes at the time it was built. The anti-lock breaks work exceptionally well. The GTS accelerates with gusto even when riding 2 up as I usually do, wife in tow. The lean angle to the handle bars will fatigue your back on a long ride but over all it is a great bike. I have owned 2 Kawasaki motorcycles. A
1976 Kawasaki 400 and a 1978 Kawasaki 1000. I also own a 2003 Harley Davidson Road King. Don´t know why the GTS hasn´t appreciated in value due to its collectablilty and advanced engineering. They weren´t made for more than a few years. I am keeping mine and will sell it later to someone who know of and appreciates this bike.
