hello, they are above average for reliability, but you still talkikg about a honda! ive owned one in the 80´s and just got a xl185s just recently,they are extremely reliable and i do not know about what your trading, but honestly these bikes are very easy to work on and you won´t be disappointed. just make sure all lights, turn signals etc work when and if you get one.they are capable on and off road as well.they only made these from 79-84? anyway, i would not be afraid of owning one, it is still a 30 year old bike though.
