| I am looking top buy a Honda Varaero. I live in Dubai so I went to the HOnda Dealer, unfortunately they do not have Varaderos. I do not know why. There are a lot of bikers in Dubai and similar bikes like VStrom , TDM900 and BMW GS1200 exists. I thought about the VStrom but the looks are not as appealing as the Dero. Finally the dealer agreed to import the Honda from Spain. A brand new 2006 model at around 11,000 US Dollars + Custom duty... They also advised that they will service but they won´t stock spare parts. Facts about me. I started riding on and off since I was 11 and now I am 36. In the past 5 years I got the chance to own a 1988 TDM850 and I loved it. Now it has been more than 2 years since I had a bike. I have developed a slight disc problem so I need a bike that is comfortable to ride I will only ride like 5000 KM a year I need the help and advise of current Varadero riders. Is it worth the wait of 2 months and the extra $2,200 or shall I go ahead and hop on a new Vstrom? Tell me about the Varadero how nice it is and what can I expect.? Thanks a lot |
