I had the same problem. You should be able to lift the front up, then slide the seat forward. Under the front of the saddle, above the battery,there are two prongs coming down from the seat. If they are bolted on, you´ll need to remove those first, but I doubt they are. They keep the saddle from moving side to side. There is a plastic prong in the rear that keeps the saddle secure up and down. I hope this helps.
