Hi there, I own a ´03 Honda VTX 1800c and the engine used to have alot more ticking noises and a rougher shift until I switched to using mobil 1 synthetic motor oil...
hopefully this helps. or maybe by now, you would have figured this concern out by now- i saw you posted wayy back in april
