It´s a bit daunting when you first roll out the VTX 1800 from the showroom - but the more you ride the more you realize what a superbly balanced machine this is. Yes it´s heavy - but it´s also responsive to rider´s demands - like tight turns into parking bays - and precision highway cornering. My only fear when cornering fast is hitting gravel or an oil slick.(or a melted ice cream) Peg grinding is quite easy on the bike when I put it down hard into a turn. I am very happy with the bike - it gets a it hot here in the tropics and the fan blows a lot of air through the radiator which when stopped feels like a blast furnace between your legs. The power to weight ratio and acceleration is satisfying. No lag.
