Too Heavy???

I am struggling to find a demo VTX to answer my main question about the bike. Is it too heavy? 320kg seems pretty weighty to me. My current ride is a Honda VTR1000 which feels pretty nimble and I would definatly not refer to it as heavy. Previously I owned a VT750 Shadow. That too seemed pretty ok in the weight department. So my question is - Will I be shocked or surprised at purchasing a bike that weights as much as the VTX1800. I want a cruiser but dont want to deal with any under powered crap! If the vtx aint to heavy and cumbersome it may be the goods. Any insite would be appreciated.
