| Bought VTX C in October 2002. Very very reliable. Fast as can be. Got lots of attention. Goes through tires in 8000 miles or so. Put on Vance Hines pipes, raps pretty hard, going to put on a power commander. That is my only rub. It is heavy in slow turning, got to be a bit careful. Runs like a champ and pulls like a tank. I doubt that any Harely could stand the constant 80-85 mph runs to work, and keep on going. Hits a hundred without any thought. Brother in Law just bought a 2003 1800 R, I´ve never seen anyone happier. What kind of mileage do you get? I am around 33 - 35, its not the best with a 4.5 gallon tank. I´ve never put in more than 4.0 gallons, what is the most you´ve put in? Any advice for the bike owner in general? I´ve really not found a problem anywhere - 13,000 miles and counting fast. |
