I ASKED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THE SAME QUESTION. THEY TOLD ME THE SAME THING. THAT THIS IS THE SOUND IT MAKES. I LISTED TO SEVERVAL OTHER VTX1300´S AND THEY ALL DID THE SAME THING. I ADDITION I TALKED TO TWO OTHER RIDERS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT WAS THE SOUND THEY MADE. SOUNDS LIKE WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE SOUND. MAYBE THE ANSWER IS GETTING LOUDER PIPES
