I had the stuttering problem when the engine is cold. After it warms up it ran fine. I pulled the spark plugs out and found all 4 were black from carbon deposits. I wire brushed them, blew them out with compressed, put them back in. Now the bike starts better and runs without stuttering, backfiring etc when cold...
