I recently bought a 93 fizzer 600, and about a week ago, it doesn´t accelerate properly. When I have fully disengaged the clutch, and applied the gas, the engine just revs, and applies minimal power to the wheel. After about three or four seconds, the bike seems to ´catch´ and all the power goes to wheel. I asked some friends, and they said that it was an older bike, that the clutch cable may have stretched, and isn´t able to fully disengage the clutch. Maybe my clutch plates are worn, I don´t know. If you do know what the problem is, is it something that I could do myself over the weekend?
