Why are Michellin CMDR2 tires not listed for my ´07 VTX1300C?

I am purchasing tires for my VTX1300C, and it seems that the Michelin Commander 2 tires are not intended for my bike. They are made in the correct sizes, but are not listed ar multiple sites if i search by motorcycle. I can search by size and they are available. Is the a spec that is of off the manufacturer recommendations?
