Help!!!

I have a Honda VTR1000 1998 .. it runs but there is gas leaking out of the carb right under the seat. It looks like there should be a hose connected to it but there are no hoses there and besides it is running like it is. I just can´t ride it because of the leak. The small 1/4 to 1/2 inch tube that leaks is on the back side of the carb facing the rear wheel. Does anyone have a suggestion? thanks...
