Just this morning, I noticed a lound rattle or knock coming from my ´98 VTR1000, it didn´t affect the engine running or power. It´s got 37,000 miles on clock and has never missed a beat. I had an anti-rattle gear and springs (on the end of the crank shaft)replaced under warranty after about 1,000 miles( 6 years ago), but it was never as noisy as this, could this be the problem ? Strange thing is, it´s gone away again, but I´d like to sort it out. Any help greatly appreciated.
