This is for all those considering purchasing the VTR. This bike is worth the money, it is by far the most enjoyable bike I´ve ever ridden and owned. My only complaint is the range of 175km and wind protection(I´m 6ft so reccommend bubble windscreen). Theres been complaints about the mirrors but I just bought a couple bubble mirror from Canadian Tire. The Pros: Very powerful bike, torquey, crisp handling, light, nimble, comfortable riding position for touring or track, excellent gage pod in every aspect(lighting and layout), very modest attractive styling(turns heads), the V-twin growl sounds so good(turns heads aswell), the factory gold rims and quality sound and look of the stock exhaust. This bike is great for around town, back roads and touring. Power and Torque is peaked from 3000-7000rpm so its power you can use in any gear with out getting yourself into too much trouble, but don´t be fooled...this bike accelerates fast. The Superhawk is not that common and definetely underrated. It can keep up with the best of em...and blow em away too. For the amount of fun it is to ride and the heads I turn when I ride by...I can deal with its limited range and frequent stops. CHeers and Beers all! Happy ridin) |
