So I just upgraded. From a ninja 500. To this awesome 1998 superhawk. Couldn´t be happier. Well except for the crushed balls, but ill live. Anyways I wanted to make this because I want to know what some of your smarter guys out there have to tell me. What are some modifications I could or should make that are common? I bought my 98 with 28k miles on it in good condition bone stock except a Corbin race seat. For 2500. I think I got a deal. I just want to know how good of a deal. Also I´m going to go ahead and assume that 35ish mpg is average? It was a shock going from 60 on the 500 and I haven´t seen any specs for what my mpg should be. But once I realized it was carbureted. Sounds about right for a liter bike to me? And I heard the exhaust was very restrictive. Thoughts?
