hi,recently my vtr 1000 has developed a rattling type noise in the front cyclinder ? seems to be only when it warms up..when it does get up to tempreture and i come to a stop at a set of lights for example,it rattles and clicks,a broken ballbearing type noise ? it can go away the engine will sound sweet as a nut for say 5-6mls then it comes back again ?? i dont think its the camchain tensioners as the noise would be constent would it not ? from start-up ? and as i say it seems to be only when it gets up to tempreture ? will it be the valves and or shims ? and is it expensive and time consuming ? will i have to do both cyclinders at the same time ?
any info is very much appreciated thanks
